Top 10 P4P Rankings

1.  Vasyl Lomachenko (11-1, 9 KOs)
Lomachenko has been out of the ring since his stoppage win over Jorge Linares in May.  While nothing is finalized yet it is looking more and more like Lomachenko will next fight in early December in a unification fight against newly crowned champion Jose Pedraza.

2.  Terence Crawford (33-0, 24 KOs)
There isn't much separating Crawford and the top pound-for-pound fighter, Vasyl Lomachenko.  With a few more big wins Crawford could easily claim that top spot.  After demolishing Jeff Horn in June, Crawford will now set his sights on handling business against Jose Benavidez in October.

3.  Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (50-1-2, 34 KOs)
Despite how many people scored the fight all that matters are the official scorecards.  Those officials scorecards were in Alvarez's favor in his rematch against Gennady Golovkin.  That win helped Alvarez moved from the sixth spot on this list to the place occupied by Golovkin last month.

4.  Gennady Golovkin (38-1-1, 34 KOs)
In his last bout Golovkin dropped a very controversial majority decision to Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and is now 0-1-1 against the Mexican superstar.  That was the first loss of his career but even in defeat there was no denying that Golovkin looked very good which helped him remain in the top five pound-for-pound, only dropping one slot.

5.  Mikey Garcia (39-0, 30 KOs)
In July Garcia cruised to a wide unanimous decision victory over Rober Easter Jr..  There are plenty of fights to be made with Garcia at 135 or 140 pounds but he seems to have his sights set on bigger challenges at 147 pounds.  Garcia really wants to move up in weight to take on Errol Spence Jr. but no word on when or if that fight will happen.

6.  Errol Spence Jr. (24-0, 21 KOs)
In June Spence wasted no time in dismantling Carlos Ocampo in the first round.  Mikey Garcia has been calling Spence out but there are plenty of other big fights Spence can make.  Among them are unification fights with Terence Crawford or Shawn Porter or even moving up to 160 to challenge Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.

7.  Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (46-4-1, 41 KOs)
Rungvisai wasted no time getting back to his winning ways.  In his last fight in July, Rungvisai stopped Young Gil Bae in the opening round.  He won't wast much time before getting back to business, with his next fight already scheduled for October against Iran Diaz.

8.  Naoya Inoue (16-0, 14 KOs)
Inoue captured a bantamweight title in very impressive fashion, stopping champion Jamie McDonnell in the very first round.  Next Inoue will take on Juan Carlos Payano in October in the first defense of his newly earned title.

9.  Oleksandr Usyk (15-0, 11 KOs)
In July Usyk became the undisputed cruiserweight champion of the world when he easily handled Murat Gassiev.  In November Usyk will put all the cruiserweight titles on the line when he faces off against former cruiserweight champion and heavyweight contender Tony Bellew.

10.  Leo Santa Cruz (35-1-1, 19 KOs)
Usually a busier fighter, Santa Cruz has only fought once in 2018.  While there is still time for him to fight twice in 2018 there is not fight set yet.  The featherweight division is very deep though and if Carl Frampton handles business against Josh Warrington in December fans could be treated to a third fight between Santa Cruz and Frampton.
