Top 10 P4P Rankings

# 1  Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-0, 11 KO)
Rigondeaux may not garner much respect from television networks or promotional companies but boxing heads can't deny his rare talent.  Not only is it nearly impossible to mount a sustained attack on the Cuban but he also has the ability who punish the few opponents who try.  No word on his next fight but he is coming off an impressive victory of James Dickens who had to retire after the second round because Rigondeaux broke his jaw.

# 2  Roman Gonzalez (45-0, 38 KO)
Gonzalez's next fight is rapidly approaching and once again he will be the co-feature for a Gennady Golovkin headlined HBO card.  Gonzalez will be moving up to the junior bantamweight division for that fight to challenge Carlos Cuadras for his WBC junior bantamweight title.  This should be a good fight and other good fights could be made if Gonzalez decides to remain in the division should he win.

# 3  Gennady Golovkin (35-0, 32 KO)
In September Golovkin will take on Kell Brook, who is moving up in weight for this fight.  It is an interesting match but Golovkin will be the heavy favorite as he sets out to defend his WBC, IBF, and IBO titles.  Hopefully with a win fans are one step closer to seeing a mega fight between Golovkin and fellow top 10 pound-for-pounder, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.

# 4  Sergey Kovalev (30-0-1, 26 KO)
Many people thought Kovalev failed to impress in a homecoming fight against Isaac Chilemba and while he did fail to get the knockout he still dominated the fight.  Now fans can sit back and wait for November when Kovalev takes on Andre Ward, with the winner having a legitimate claim as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

# 5  Andre Ward (30-0, 15 KO)
Right behind Sergey Kovalev on the list is Ward who will be his opponent come November.  After a long layoff Ward has looked good but it has come against lower level opposition.  A win over Kovalev would not only silence the few critics Ward has but it could also make him the number one pound-for-pound fighter in the sport.

# 6  Terence Crawford (29-0, 20 KO)
The fight between Crawford and Viktor Postol was supposed to be a closely contested one.  It was also supposed to be Crawford's toughest challenge to date.  Instead it was another dominant performance from Crawford who seems to get better each time he enters the ring.  No word on his next fight but there is little doubt that Crawford is on his way to becoming a super star in the sport.

# 7  Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (47-1-1, 33 KO)
It is sometimes hard to forget that Alvarez is only a 26-year-old since he has been around so long now.  After demolishing Amir Khan, Alvarez is now set to face Liam Smith in a fight not many people are too excited about.  The only good news is that a win could help secure a future fight with Gennady Golovkin.

# 8  Manny Pacquiao (58-6-2, 38 KO)
After a very brief retirement Pacquiao will return to the ring in November against Jessie Vargas.  However, that fight will not be broadcast by HBO who declined the fight after working so closely with Pacquiao for so many years.  Pacquiao shouldn't have too much trouble with Vargas and the real question is who will he fight after should he win.

# 9  Timothy Bradley (33-2-1, 13 KO)
Bradley's last fight was a loss to Manny Pacquiao but not many other fighters could have beaten Bradley on that night.  No word next on when he will return to the ring but his name has been mentioned as a rumored opponent for Miguel Cotto.  It won't be easy for Bradley to remain in the top 10 much longer but for now his spot is secure.

# 10  Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KO)
Once again Fury finds himself on this list for his massive upset of Wladimir Klitschko back in late 2015.  Injuries, among other things have derailed their rematch but when you beat the long reigning heavyweight champion who was in the top five pound-for-pound rankings at the time you deserve a spot on the list, although Fury could fall of this list very soon with other top fighters back in action.
