Carlos Ocampo vs. Alvaro Robles: This Saturday night on beIN Sports Espanol there will be a welterweight bout between Carlos Ocampo (19-0, 12 KO) and Alvaro Robles (19-5, 17 KO).  That bout is scheduled to go 10 rounds but considering that both men have pretty good power and one has a questionable chin, this fight could end well before the final round.  Ocampo is an orthodox fighter who has yet to taste defeat in his young career.  While he still hasn't been in the ring with any top tier fighters he has faced some quality opposition like Jorge Paez Jr., among others.  Like many Mexican fighters Ocampo likes to work from the pocket.  On the inside he will throw a nice left hook along with a short overhand right, but the best work he does at close range is to the body.  Robles is also an orthodox fighter and between the two pugilists he has been in the ring with the best opponent, Kell Brook.  Robles and Ocampo also share a common opponent in Ramses Agaton who Robles lost to and who Ocampo beat by a mile-wide unanimous decision.  Everything that Robles throws besides his jab is wild, and even the jab can be wild at times.  He has a big overhand right that can do serious damage but he isn't very accurate with it and the same could be said for his left hook.  The bigger problem for Robles though is his defense.  He usually eats a lot of clean punches and in five career losses he has been stopped three times.  Robles is a bigger puncher than Ocampo but Ocampo is more accurate and better defensively and those attributes will help him win this fight by the way of unanimous decision.

Jose Uzcategui vs. Fabiano Pena: The co-feature for Saturday's card will resemble the main event in that the man being brought in as the opponent has good power but a terrible chin.  For the co-feature fight that man is Fabiano Pena (18-5-1, 14 KO) and in his five career losses he has been knocked out four times.  The man expected to win this fight, and not just win but look great doing it is Jose Uzcategui (25-1, 21 KO).  The two pugilists are scheduled to go 10 rounds in the super middleweight division where Uzcategui is looking to make a name for himself.  Uzcategui's only career loss came in 2014 against Matt Korobov but since that loss he has gone 3-0 with three knockouts and no opponent has been able to see the fourth round.  Uzcategui is a tall orthodox fighter with excellent power.  While he does have a nice jab his success comes from his power punches.  Among those power punches are a big overhand right that can do serious damage along with a serious left hook.  Clearly Pena, who fights out of the orthodox stance, is used to being brought in as an opponent because he fought seven times in 2015 and has already fought five times in 2016, something top fighters just don't do.  One reason Pena gets knocked out so much is because he has a bad habit or reaching out with his off hand as he jabs and that leaves him wide open for counter punches.  Pena's hands aren't that fast either and he is a fairly stationary target, all which should have Uzcategui salivating.  Pena does have a big left hook but it comes in wide and shouldn't be that hard for Uzcategui to avoid.  This fight won't last long so don't get up for a bathroom break.  Uzcategui is bigger, stronger, and more skilled and he will win this fight with a third round stoppage.
