Berchelt looks to continue his KO streak
Miguel Berchelt vs. Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo: Deontay Wilder won't be the only champion in action this week.  On Saturday night on beIN Sports Espanol, Miguel Berchelt (29-1, 26 KO) will put his WBO interim junior lightweight title on the line against Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo (61-2, 41 KO).  While many fans have probably seen Berchelt this will be Piriyapinyo's first fight in Mexico and one of only a handful of times he has fought outside his native Thailand.  Berchelt suffered the first loss of his career in 2014 but since that loss he has gone 8-0 with eight knockouts and he will look to continue that streak on Saturday night.  Berchelt is an orthodox fighter with a nice long, stiff jab.  What makes him dangerous is that he has power in both hands and uses them equally well.  Throughout his career Berchelt has show a mean left hook and uppercuts from the left hand are also dangerous.  However, Berchelt has also shown a good straight right hand that can hurt opponents.  As for Piriyapinyo he likes to fight on the inside and his jab isn't much of a weapon.  One thing Piriyapinyo has going for him is fast hands and on the inside he attacks the body very nicely.  His best punch is probably his left hook but he can also do damage with crooked right hands.  On defense though Piriyapinyo has some flaws.  He likes to fight behind a high guard and will sometimes wait his turn to punch but when he does punch he often completely forgets about return fire.  Piriyapinyo is by far the more experienced fighter in this bout but that won't help him much come Saturday because Berchelt is going to land some seriously impactful punches on his way to a unanimous decision win.
