Top 10 P4P Rankings

# 1  Guillermo Rigondeaux (16-0, 10 KO)
He may not get much love from television networks or casual fans but there is no denying the talent of Rigondeaux.  After winning his last fight in November there has been no word on when Rigondeaux will return to the ring, but when he does hopefully it comes against a worthy opponent.

# 2  Roman Gonzalez (44-0, 38 KO)
In his last fight Gonzalez stopped Brian Viloria in the ninth round.  There is no word on his next opponent but fans would love if it was a rematch with Juan Francisco Estrada.  It also looks like HBO likes the idea of continuing to feature Gonzalez on cards headlined by Gennady Golovkin and fans should be happy about that.

# 3  Andre Ward (28-0, 15 KO)
After Floyd Mayweather retired it looked like Ward, who was long ranked in the second spot, would rise to number one.  However, inactivity killed those chances and Ward hasn't fought since a tune-up fight in June of 2015.  His next fight isn't official yet but it is looking like he will face puncher Sullivan Barrera in March and then face off against Sergey Kovalev later in the year.

# 4  Manny Pacquiao (57-6-2, 38 KO)
Clearly Pacquiao is not the same fighter he once was.  Ever since he became extremely religious he hasn't had the same killer instinct in the ring.  Yet Pacquiao is still one of the best pugilists in the sport and he will meet Timothy Bradley for a third time in April which is being billed as Pacquiao's last fight, although that seems unlikely.

# 5  Gennady Golovkin (34-0, 31 KO)
In his last fight which was late in 2015, Golovkin easily handled, and then stopped, David Lemieux in eight rounds.  After a fight against fellow middleweight title holder Billy Joe Saunders fell through Golovkin moved on to Tureano Johnson but an injury stopped that fight before negotiations after gained momentum.  Not it looks like "GGG" will face Dominic Wade who hasn't done anything to prove he deserves a shot at Golovkin.

# 6  Sergey Kovalev (29-0-1, 26 KO)
Kovalev may be the most menacing presence in boxing and he proved that again in his rematch with Jean Pascal.  Kovalev landed anything he wanted to and instead of going in for the kill when Pascal was in trouble Kovalev would back off so he could punish Pascal for more rounds.  It is unclear what is next for Kovalev but a fight with Ward later this year already has fans buzzing.

# 7  Timothy Bradley (33-1-1, 13 KO)
For the third time in his career Bradley will be taking on Manny Pacquiao.  The fight is scheduled for April and the series is currently tied at 1-1 although most fans feel Pacquiao is actually up 2-0.  This time Bradley will have trainer Teddy Atlas in his corner and he is hoping that the trainer makes a difference this time around.

# 8  Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (46-1-1, 32 KO)
The young Alvarez needs to be given props for always fighting the best.  However, he has put some fans off by being the lineal middleweight champion of the world who doesn't fight in the middleweight division.  If fans want to see "Canelo" take on Golovkin it would probably have to be at a catchweight which is ridiculous considering Alvarez often enters the ring as a light heavyweight.

# 9  Terence Crawford (27-0, 19 KO)
Crawford looks like he will be the next American superstar despite the fact that he hasn't faced any truly elite fighters.  The reason he is so good is because he can box and punch and he has a mean streak in him when he gets tagged.  After failing to secure other opponents Crawford was forced to settle for a fight with tough veteran Hank Lundy who he will fight in February.

# 10  Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KO)
Fury's inclusion on this list is more because he beat the man in the heavyweight division, Wladimir Klitschko, when Klitschko was ranked number three by Big Time Boxing.  Fury was last seen rushing the ring to trash talk Deontay Wilder, but before that fight can happen Fury will have to take care of business against Klitschko is a contractually obligated rematch.
