Zepeda is looking to get back on track
Jose Zepeda vs. Ammeth Diaz: While many fans will be tuned in to Fox this Saturday there will also be fights later in the night on beIN Sports Espanol.  Those fights will be headlined by the power punching Jose Zepeda (23-1, 20 KO) as he takes on veteran Ammeth Diaz (32-12, 23 KO).  The bout is scheduled to go 10 rounds in the lightweight division and Zepeda will be looking to get back into the winners column.  In his last fight Zepeda suffered a cut in the first round after a clash of heads and was left unable to continue making the fight a no contest.  In the fight before that Zepeda was taking on Terry Flanagan for a vacant WBO World lightweight title but was forced to quit after separating his shoulder in the second round.  Zepeda is an orthodox fighter with plenty of pop on his punches.  Zepeda isn't just a power puncher though, he also has quick hands and makes use of a nice jab.  Offensively Zepeda is fun to watch because he can bang upstairs or to the body and he shows a strong left hook and right hand.  The young fighter can also switch up and fight as a southpaw and from that stance his straight left hand is extremely dangerous.  In fact, Zepeda may be better out of the southpaw stance and he really attacks the body well as a lefty.  While Zepeda hasn't fought many notable opponents outside of Flanagan and Victor Cayo, Diaz has fought high level opponents.  Diaz has taken on the likes of Raymundo Beltran, Joan Guzman, and Miguel Vazquez but has lost to them all except Beltran.  Diaz is an orthodox fighter with a quality jab and a very good straight right hand.  The problem for Diaz has always been his chin and in his 12 career losses he has been knocked out eight times, which doesn't bode well for him against a puncher like Zepeda.  Zepeda may not have a victory in his last two fights but all that will change on Saturday night when he knocks out Diaz in the fourth round.

Sanchez is looking to remain relevant
Juan Carlos Sanchez Jr. vs. Jhon Gemino: The co-feature of Saturday's card on beIN Sports Espanol will feature two fighters who really need a win.  Those fighters are Juan Carlos Sanchez Jr. (20-4-1, 9 KO) and Jhon Gemino (12-5-1, 5 KO) and they are scheduled to go 10 rounds in the junior featherweight division.  Both fighters are coming off a loss and Sanchez is 3-2 in his last five fights while Gemino is 2-3.  Sanchez is a southpaw with a nice jab and a solid straight left hand but he lacks a serious right hook or any real power to speak of.  Another problem for Sanchez has been his chin.  In his four career losses Sanchez has been knocked out three times.  Luckily for Sanchez, Gemino isn't a big puncher either and he is coming off a knockout loss in September.  Gemino is an orthodox fighter who likes to mix things up on the inside.  His best punches are his left hook and right uppercut but he has to get in very close to find success.  If Sanchez can keep Gemino at the end of his jab and straight left hand he should be able to control the fight.  Gemino may find success at times but it won't be easy for him to consistently get inside and Sanchez will out box him for the unanimous decision victory.
