Top 10 P4P Rankings

# 1   Guillermo Rigondeaux (15-0, 10 KO)
Some people ripped Rigondeaux after he was dropped twice in his last fight, but he was never hurt and they were meaningless flash knockdowns.  Rigondeaux may have promotional issues but there is no denying his incredible skill level.  The latest rumor has Rigondeaux possibly signing with power player Al Haymon, a move that would hopefully help his career.

# 2   Roman Gonzalez (43-0, 37 KO)
Recently Gonzalez had his first fight on HBO and it couldn't have gone much better for the Nicaraguan fighter.  The power of Gonzalez is impressive for such a small fighter and his aggressive style should endure him to fans and keep him in the spotlight for a long time.  His next fight will be on the Gennady Golovkin - David Lemieux undercard and he will be fighting Brian Viloria.

# 3   Wladimir Klitschko (64-3, 53 KO)
The award for the most under appreciated heavyweight champion of all-time has to go to Klitschko.  He has one of the longest title reigns in heavyweight history yet some people still refuse to give him credit for being such an excellent fighter.  Unfortunately a leg injury forced him to postpone an upcoming bout against Tyson Fury.

# 4   Andre Ward (28-0, 15 KO)
Ward finally returned to the ring after what seemed like a lifetime away from the ring.  He looked as sharp as ever in that fight and could find himself on top of this list as soon as he gets back in the ring with top opponents.  The question now is what weight class will Ward settle in and will he appear on the Miguel Cotto - Saul "Canelo" Alvarez undercard

# 5   Manny Pacquiao (57-6-2, 39 KO)
Pacquiao didn't look himself against Floyd Mayweather and claimed to have had a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder.  Pacquiao claims to have recovered from the injury by swimming in salt water and through his religious practices.  Nothing is official yet but rumors have been swirling that his next fight could be against Amir Khan, Lucas Matthysse, Terence Crawford, or even Juan Manuel Marquez for the fifth time.

# 6   Gennady Golovkin (33-0, 30 KO)
Golovkin finds himself just outside of the top five in part because he still hasn't faced an elite fighter.  While some questions still remain about his defense he has shown himself to be an offensive force who is must see TV.  Golovkin already has a large fan base that could get even bigger if he puts on a show against David Lemieux in October.

# 7   Sergey Kovalev (28-0-1, 25 KO)
Much like Golovkin, Kovalev hasn't been able to lure an elite opponent into the ring with him.  Whoever does step in with Kovalev usually doesn't last very long because of his incredible power.  Fight fans want to see Kovalev take on Adonis Stevenson or Andre Ward but both fights still seem far away.  His next fight will be in November against an opponent to be determined.

# 8   Miguel Cotto (40-4, 33 KO)
Cotto is a name that has long been in the top 10 rankings and he hopes to remain there with a win over Saul "Canelo" Alvarez when they fight in November.  That fight is probably the biggest that can be made in the sport at the moment and Cotto will try to continue his success under trainer Freddie Roach.

# 9   Timothy Bradley (32-1-1, 12 KO)
Bradley dominated Jessie Vargas in his last fight but nearly lost it at the end when Vargas had him badly hurt.  A terrible job by the referee ended the fight before the drama could continue but it was clearly a wide win for Bradley.  His next fight is set for November against brawler Brandon Rios and this will be Bradley's first fight under new trainer Teddy Atlas after splitting with Joel Diaz.

# 10  Terence Crawford (26-0, 18 KO)
Crawford is the newcomer to this months pound-for-pound list and he seems to only be getting better.  After dominating the lightweight division Crawford is now fighting as a junior welterweight and his next fight will be in October against Dierry Jean.  However, his name has also been floated as a possible Manny Pacquiao opponent.
