David Sanchez vs. Luis Concepcion: On Saturday night the power punching David Sanchez (28-2-2, 22 KO) will be taking on the experienced Luis Concepcion (32-4, 23 KO) in a 12-round bout for Sanchez's WBA interim junior bantamweight title.  Sanchez won that title in 2014 and has successfully defended it three times, going 3-0 with 3 knockouts in those fights.  Meanwhile, Concepcion is coming off of a loss in April of 2015 which marked his first loss since 2011.  Concepcion isn't old at only 29 years old but he has a big experience advantage over Sanchez and has been in with some top fighters, most notably taking on Hernan "Tyson" Marquez twice, losing both fights.  Sanchez is an orthodox fighter who puts a lot behind his punches, but who also throws everything wildly.  Don't expect a busy jab or great footwork from Sanchez because he provides neither and will often square up and wing power punches.  Sanchez has a nice left hook but his overhand right may be his most powerful punch.  Along with those he also throws a lot of uppercuts and actually has a nice short straight right hand he flashes on a rare occasion.  Concepcion is also an orthodox fighter and his movement in the ring is much more fluent and natural than that of his opponent Sanchez.  While Concepcion uses his jab much more often than Sanchez it isn't a punch he throws consistently.  One major problem for Concepcion is his inability to cut off the ring which then forces him to follow opponents around the ring.  Concepcion does have a very nice straight right hand and a decent left hook, but he isn't a very busy fighter, in part because he can't cut off the ring.  Whenever Sanchez is in the ring it usually ends up being an exciting fight because of his frenetic style and that style will prevail on Saturday night when Sanchez stops Concepcion in the 10th round.
