Top 10 P4P Rankings

# 1   Floyd Mayweather (47-0, 26 KO)
There is no doubt that Mayweather deserves to be in the top spot, the question is whether or not he will still deserve that spot after his May 2nd fight against fellow superstar Manny Pacquiao.  The fight is a month away and may be the biggest even the sport has ever seen.

# 2   Guillermo Rigondeaux (15-0, 10 KO)
The Rigolution will not be televised, at least that is how fans of the slick southpaw have felt lately.  Rigondeaux is one of the most skilled fighters in the sport but he is still without a large fan base and needs to get himself in a big fight to get back in the good graces of certain television executives.

# 3   Manny Pacquiao (57-5-2, 38 KO)
In recent fights Pacquiao had no trouble at all handling Brandon Rios and Chris Algieri.  However, Floyd Mayweather represents a very different level of opposition and Pacquiao will need to be at his awkward best if he wants to dethrone the pound for pound king.

# 4   Wladimir Klitschko (63-3, 53 KO)
For the first time in a long time Klitschko will fight on U.S. soil.  That fight will be against the undersized, and light hitting Bryant Jennings but the matchup of Klitschko against an American heavyweight could get fans salivating to see him in against Deontay Wilder.

# 5   Juan Manuel Marquez (56-7-1, 40 KO)
Ever since Marquez's last fight in May of 2014 it has been unclear whether or not he will continue his legendary career.  The latest rumor swirling around is that a knee injury that isn't healing properly will force Marquez to retire, but that didn't stop Kell Brook from calling him out after his win over Jo Jo Dan.

# 6   Timothy Bradley (31-1-1, 12 KO)
Bradley is coming off of a loss to Manny Pacquiao and a disputed draw with slugger Diego Chaves.  Now his career seems to be at a major crossroads as he struggles with who he wants to be as a fighter.  Bradley should go back to being the Bradley of old, but he may have fallen in love with being a slugger, and if that is the case, he won't be long for the top ten.

# 7   Gennady Golovkin (32-0, 29 KO)
It seems that there isn't a top tier opponent in the sport who is willing to get in the ring with Golovkin.  That hasn't stopped Golovkin from staying busy though and his next fight is already set for May against Willie Monroe Jr., who fans probably remember from winning ESPN's Boxcino junior middleweight tournament in 2014.

# 8   Miguel Cotto (39-4, 32 KO)
It looked liked Cotto's next opponent would be either Saul "Canelo" Alvarez or Floyd Mayweather, both good fights.  Now though it looks like Cotto will have to settle for less.  Rumors are swirling that Cotto's next opponent will either be Cornelius "K9" Bundrage or Jorge Heiland, a basically unknown fighter.

# 9   Roman Gonzalez (42-0, 36 KO)
At this point it seems that Gonzalez is an unstoppable force.  The only fighter that looks to be a real threat to him is Juan Francisco Estrada.  If that rematch happens it will need to wait because Gonzalez is already scheduled to return to the ring in May against Edgar Sosa on the Golovkin-Monroe HBO card.

# 10  Sergey Kovalev (27-0-1, 24 KO)
In his most recent bout Kovalev looked dominant over skilled fighter Jean Pascal.  After the fight Adonis Stevenson told those sitting ringside that he will in fact fight Kovalev.  That is a fight every fan wants to see and hopefully Stevenson can take care of business against Sakio Bika so fans will actually get to see it.
