Top 10 P4P Rankings

# 1   Floyd Mayweather (47-0, 26 KO)
It shouldn't come as a surprise that Mayweather remains in the top spot.  Every fighter around the welterweight division wants a shot at Mayweather but his next fight may be against the winner of the fighter between Amir Khan and Devon Alexander.  A bout with Manny Pacquiao may still happen but not until Mayweather's contract with Showtime is up.

# 2   Andre Ward (27-0, 14 KO)
It has been a year since Ward was seen in a boxing ring and it doesn't look like he will make his return anytime soon.  Next month Ward will be dropped from the rankings due to inactivity but he should jump right back into the rankings as soon as he gets back in to the ring.  It is amazing that Ward is choosing to be inactive during his prime.

# 3   Guillermo Rigondeaux (14-0, 9 KO)
Rigondeaux seems to be the forgotten man in boxing.  He has all the talent in the world but not many want to step in the ring against him.  An intriguing fight can be made with Leo Santa Cruz but outside of that bout Rigondeaux will have to move up to featherweight for a big fight possibly against Abner Mares, Vasyl Lomachenko, Nicholas Walters, or Jhonny Gonzalez.

 # 4   Manny Pacquiao (57-5-2, 38 KO)
Pacquiao has rebounded nicely from his 2012 knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez.  Since that loss he has gone 3-0 winning every fight easily.  He most recently dropped Chris Algieri six times in a fight that was never close and his next move seems to be a drop in weight to 140 and a possible bout against Danny Garcia.

# 5   Wladimir Klitschko (63-3, 53 KO)
Klitschko's last fight was against the very game Kubrat Pulev who came to win but was outclassed.  Klitschko was dominant as usual and dropped Pulev multiple times on his way to a 5th round knockout.  Klitschko's next bout should be a tough one and will most likely be against Tyson Fury or the winner of the bout between Bermane Stiverne and Deontay Wilder.

# 6   Timothy Bradley (31-1, 12 KO)
Bradley's next fight is right around the corner against the power punching Diego Chaves.  This should be another fan friendly fight for Bradley who has become a fan favorite ever since his legendary bout against Ruslan Provodnikov.  If Bradley can beat Chaves a big fight will be next.

# 7   Juan Manuel Marquez (56-7-1, 40 KO)
The latest reports are that Marquez has gone back to the gym to prepare for his next fight.  There is no word on when that fight will happen but it seems that it will be a farewell fight for the Mexican legend.  Marquez's name carries a lot of weight so a lot of young fighters will be hoping to get in the ring with him.

 # 8   Mikey Garcia (34-0, 28 KO)
Garcia plans to return to the ring in early 2015 and possibly as early as February.  Garcia plans to move up in weight to 135 or 140 pounds where there are a lot of big fights to be made.  Don't expect Garcia's first fight back from his layoff to be a big fight though as he plans to take a tune-up first.

# 9   Miguel Cotto (39-4, 32 KO)
Cotto's name still brings a lot of money to the table and his career renaissance has made him a target for many fighters.  There could be a lot of big fights for Cotto when he returns to the ring, he was recently called out by Gennady Golovkin and a fight with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is also a possibility.  Most recently rumors of a rematch with Floyd Mayweather have surfaced so it seems like Cotto has his pick of the litter.

 # 10  Gennady Golovkin (31-0, 28 KO)
Golovkin just gone done ripping through Marco Antonio Rubio in October and his next fight is already set.  That fight will be on February 21st against the tough Martin Murray.  If Golovkin can beat Murray there will be a ton of big fight opportunities for him as long as those big names are willing to step in the ring with him.
