Top 10 P4P Rankings

# 1   Floyd Mayweather (47-0, 26 KO)
The only fight that fans seem to care about when it comes to Mayweather is a showdown with Manny Pacquiao.  If that happens it won't be until after his Showtime contract is done and he is going for win number 50.  There have also been some shakeups in the Mayweather camp with longtime cutman Rafael Garcia retiring and CEO of Mayweather Promotions Leonard Ellerbe seemingly on his way out.

# 2   Andre Ward (27-0, 14 KO)
There may not be a fighter more despised by fans right now than Ward.  That is hard to do considering he has the personality of a tree.  Ward is in his prime but has recently done battle more often in the courtroom than he has in the ring.  Next month will mark one year since Ward last fought and it will also be his last month in the P4P rankings until he fights again.

# 3   Guillermo Rigondeaux (14-0, 9 KO)
After finishing his contract with Top Rank Rigondeaux is still without a new promoter.  He is also without an opponent or date for his next fight but the fight most fans want to see is a bout with fellow junior featherweight Leo Santa Cruz.  It hasn't been easy for Rigondeaux to find top opponents and he continues to be one of the most avoided fighters in boxing.

# 4   Wladimir Klitschko (62-3, 52 KO)
Klitschko's next fight is set for November 15th against Kubrat Pulev.  That fight offers little interest to any fans and it seems impossible that Pulev would actually win.  While there doesn't seem to be a true challenger for the heavyweight crown there are some fighters on the rise who could challenge Klitschko pretty soon.  If Deontay Wilder turnes out to be the real deal a Klitschko-Wilder fight would get a lot of attention.

# 5   Manny Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38 KO)
Once again the only fight really care about when it comes to Pacquiao is a showdown with Floyd Mayweather.  Instead Pacquiao will take on Chris Algieri on November 22nd at a catchweight of 144 pounds.  This seems to be a move to get Pacquiao back down to fighting as a junior welterweight where his trainer Freddie Roach prefers he fights.

# 6   Timothy Bradley (31-1, 12 KO)
Bradley's next fight is scheduled for December 13th against the hard hitting Diego Chaves.  That should be a highly entertaining fight and also a winnable one for Bradley.  After that he would have a ton of opponents to choose from in the very crowded welterweight division.

# 7   Juan Manuel Marquez (56-7-1, 40 KO)
Marquez still hasn't decided whether or not he will retire from the sport but the Mexican warrior has earned his time to ponder.  If he does choose to return to the squared circle there will be a ton of fights for him to make including as usual another showdown with rival Manny Pacquiao.

# 8   Mikey Garcia (34-0, 28 KO)
Garcia seems to suffer from the same affliction that plagues Andre Ward.  He would rather be in a courtroom than a boxing ring.  There is no word yet on when the ultra talented 26 year old will make his return to the sport but it has been 8 months since his last fight and like Ward if he goes inactive for over a year he will be removed from the rankings.

# 9   Miguel Cotto (39-4, 32 KO)
Cotto remains one of the most popular fighters in the sport and because his name brings big money there are a lot of fighters hoping to get a chance to take him on.  Most recently it was Gennady Golovkin who called out the Puerto Rican superstar but a fight against Mexican star Saul "Canelo" Alvarez will be the biggest fight Cotto could make.

# 10  Gennady Golovkin (31-0, 28 KO)
The only negative thing about Golovkin right now is that he is already 32 years old.  Still he is one of the most active fighters in the sport and always provides fans will exciting knockouts.  He is also doing his best to become a star by learning to speak some English and Spanish and he is set to return to the ring in February in Monte Carlo.  The frontrunner for that  fight seems to be Martin Murray who would be a tough test.
