Top 10 P4P Rankings

# 1   Floyd Mayweather (46-0, 26 KO)
Mayweather got past the hard charging Marcos Maidana in May although he was bloodied in that fight.  Now the boxing world will wait patiently for Mayweather to announce who his next opponent will be when he steps back into the ring on September 13th.

# 2   Andre Ward (27-0, 14 KO)
Recently Ward has spent more time as an expert analyst for HBO's broadcasts then he has actually fighting.  Fans seems to be getting more fed up by the day with Ward's inactivity especially when names like Gennady Golovkin, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., and Carl Froch loom as possible opponents.

# 3   Guillermo Rigondeaux (13-0, 8 KO)
Rigondeaux moves up a spot in the rankings because of the fall of Sergio Martinez.  The Cuban is one of the most talented fighters in the world but can't seem to get any respect.  His next fight is set for July 19th in Macau, China against Sod Kokietgym and will air on a same-day tape delay on UniMas.

# 4   Wladimir Klitschko (62-3, 52 KO)
After some boring performances of late Klitschko looked impressive in his last bout when he stopped the outmatched Alex Leapai in the 5th round.  His next fight is already set and he will make his return to the ring on September 6th against Kubrat Pulev.

# 5   Manny Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38 KO)
Pacquiao seems to be having the same problem as Floyd Mayweather in that there aren't many viable opponents for them.  It looked as if Pacquiao would fight Ruslan Provodnikov but Chris Algieri ruined those plans.  Pacquiao is set to come back in November in China and look for him to fight Algieri or Juan Manuel Marquez for a fifth time.

# 6   Timothy Bradley (31-1, 12 KO)
In his last bout Bradley suffered his first loss as a pro.  That was in part because Bradley didn't stick to his boxing style but instead tried to play the role of power puncher.  That strategy clearly didn't work but as long as Bradley goes back to his old ways he should be fine going forward.

# 7   Juan Manuel Marquez (56-7-1, 40 KO)
Marquez gave fans a great show in his most recent fight against Mike Alvarado.  Marquez was able to drop Alvarado but was also dropped himself.  However Marquez was able to recover and box nicely to close the show.  There has been rumblings of Marquez making his ring return in the fall in Mexico but he may also end up fighting Pacquiao again.

# 8   Mikey Garcia (34-0, 28 KO)
There is still a small question about the chin of Garcia but that is the only negative about him.  Garcia is a tactician and also has plenty of power when his opponent is willing to trade blows.  Garcia doesn't always make exciting fights but that is because opponents are unwilling to take chances against him which speaks to his elite skill level.

# 9   Miguel Cotto (39-4, 32 KO)
Under new trainer Freddie Roach, Cotto has looked better then ever.  In his two fights under Roach he has earned two stoppage victories including a very impressive performance against Sergio Martinez who was ranked #3 P4P at the time of the fight.  There should be some very big fights in the near future for Cotto.

# 10  Danny Garcia (28-0, 16 KO)
At this point the #10 spot seems like a revolving door.  After another lackluster performance Nonito Donaire has been dropped from the rankings which left the door open for Garcia to climb back in.  Garcia got a gift decision in his last fight against Mauricio Herrera but he is still a top talent.
