BREAKING NEWS (Update)

When HBO announced earlier today that they would no longer be doing business with Golden Boy Promotions it meant that rising superstar Adrien Broner would no longer fight on HBO.  However that doesn't seem to be the case.  HBO has a long history of building major PPV stars such as Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, and Oscar De La Hoya, and it soon may add Broner to that list.  According to Dan Rafael from ESPN.com he talked to Broner today and Broner said that he heard about the split but that "I'm still Mr. HBO and I always will be."  So although refusing to do business with Golden Boy could hurt HBO in the long run, they can breath a sigh of relief knowing they still have one of the biggest draws in boxing and a superstar in the making.
