Zepeda celebrating a victory
Jose Zepeda vs. Miguel Zamudio: One of the other cards sure to be overshadowed by tonight's HBO pay-per-view card will air on beIN Sports Espanol.  Headlining that card will be a 10-round bout from the welterweight division between Jose Zepeda (26-1, 21 KO) and Miguel Zamudio (39-9-1, 23 KO).  Zepeda is a southpaw power puncher whose only career loss came against Terry Flanagan when a dislocated left shoulder left him unable to continue.  He really only uses his jab as a measuring stick and it isn't often that it lands with a purpose.  A punch that does land well for Zepeda is his stiff straight left hand and since he doesn't use his right hook much it is that left hand he relies on to do the most damage.  As for Zamudio, he could have his hands full with a big puncher like Zepeda because in his nine career losses he has been knocked out seven times.  In fact, Zamudio is probably best known for his first round knockout loss to Javier Fortuna in 2013 which was Big Time Boxing's Knockout of the Year.  Currently Zamudio, who fights out of the orthodox stance, is riding a four fight win streak including two knockouts but those four wins have come against fighters with a combined record of 54-52- 4.  Offensively Zamudio isn't highly skilled and he usually just wings wild left hooks and big right hands, looking for the knockout.  However, because he is a wild punch he leaves himself wide open for return fire and he often pays the price for that.  Zepeda will have an easy time against Zamudio who won't be able to put up much of a fight and Zepeda will stop him in the fourth round.
