beIN Sports Espanol Quick Pick

Campa landing a strong right hand
Pedro Campa vs. Juan Antonio Rodriguez: Saturday night won't feature many big names but the fights that will be airing should be very competitive.  One of those fights will be the main event of a beIN Sports Espanol card.  The headliners of that card will be the undefeated Pedro Campa (25-0, 19 KO) and the heavy hitting Juan Antonio Rodriguez (29-6, 25 KO).  The two fighters are scheduled to go 10 rounds from the junior welterweight division with Campa's perfect record on the line.  Campa is an orthodox fighter with good power but he has yet to be challenged by any top names.  The two best opponents on his resume to date are Aaron Herrera and Marvin Quintero and he beat them both easily.  Campa has a measuring stick jab that compliments his aggressive style.  He likes to put his hands together and does a nice job of mixing up his attack upstairs and to the body.  What makes his so dangerous is that he carries good power in both hands and can end a fight with his ripping left hook or heavy right hand.  As far as resumes go Rodriguez's contains better names and he has been in the ring with Jezreel Corrales, Javier Fortuna, Yenifel Vicente, and Billy Dib, all better opponents than anyone Campa has faced.  Rodriguez is a southpaw so a clash of heads could play a role in this fight.  He also has good power and has a strong right hook to go along with a wild but heavy left hand.  The problem for Rodriguez is that he isn't a very busy puncher and doesn't fight well while facing a lot of pressure.  Because Rodriguez will be clearly outworked in this fight it will be Campa who gets the win by the way of ninth round stoppage.
