Juarez landing a punch on Nonito Donaire
Cesar Juarez vs. Eugene Lagos: On Saturday night Cesar Juarez (19-5, 14 KO) will take on Eugene Lagos (11-3-2, 7 KO) in a fight scheduled to go 10 rounds from the junior featherweight division.  The bout will air on beIN Sports Espanol, and like most Juarez fights, should be exciting.  Juarez is an orthodox fighter who isn't the most skilled but he does have a ton of heart.  His most notable fight came against Nonito Donaire, a fight that earned Honorable Mention status for Big Time Boxing's 2015 Fight of the Year.  Juarez looked like he would be stopped early only to fight back and really give Donaire a tough fight.  He has an aggressive style and loves to plow forward.  Although Juarez doesn't have much of a jab he does have good power and a vicious left hook he loves to dig to the body.  Juarez also has a solid right hand and while he isn't a very accurate puncher he is a busy one.  Despite having five losses and being dropped multiple times, Juarez has never been stopped and is as tough as they come.  Lagos is a 21-year-old Philippine fighter whose trip to Mexico on Saturday will be his first.  Of his 16 career fights 15 have come in the Philippines while the other was in Thailand.  Lagos is also an orthodox fighter and unlike Juarez he actually likes to work behind his jab.  Lagos also has a big overhand right but that punch tends to be wild and not very accurate, however, when he gets inside he will let it fly and it does do damage when it does connect.  While Lagos definitely has faster hands than Juarez, he isn't as busy of a puncher and he may have a hard time getting off if he lets Juarez lead the dance.  Lagos may have the hand speed advantage but his lack of punch output will hurt him in this fight as Juarez battles his way to unanimous decision win.
