Estrada landing the accurate uppercut
Juan Francisco Estrada vs. Anuar Salas: Tonight on beIN Sports Espanol one of the best fighters in the sport will make his 2017 debut.  That is Juan Francisco Estrada (34-2, 24 KO) and he will be taking on Anuar Salas (20-3, 12 KO) in a fight scheduled to go 12 rounds from the junior bantamweight division.  Estrada has won many big fights over his career but his most notable loss came against Roman Gonzalez back in 2012.  Since that loss fans have bee clamoring for a rematch that has never come to fruition.  That loss also marks the last time Estrada didn't leave the ring victorious, stringing together eight wins in a row, four by the way of knockout.  He is an orthodox fighter with very quick hands.  Those quick hands allow him to consistently land his accurate jab and stiff straight right hand.  Along with those punches he also has a strong left hook and what makes him even more difficult to beat is the fact that his footwork allows him to dance away from danger with ease.  Salas is also an orthodox fighter with quick hands but he has already lost three fights to opponents far superior than Estrada and two of them knocked him out.  Salas is light on his feet and has a stiff jab that he will follow with a good looking straight right hand.  However, at times he will throw that right overhand, especially from close range.  While the left hook from Salas is a strong punch it also comes in wide so if Estrada can time it look for him to counter it.  The problem for Salas in this fight is that often when he goes on the attack he really lets his hands go and forgets up defending any return fire.  This should provide Estrada with plenty of opportunities to land power shots of his own and he will stop Salas in the seventh round.
