DeMarco is riding a three fight losing streak
Antonio DeMarco vs. Luis Solis: The lone fight on Saturday night probably won't have fans waiting eagerly with anticipation.  That fight, which will air on beIN Sports Espanol will feature tough veteran Antonio DeMarco (31-6-1, 23 KO) and Luis Solis (20-7-4, 17 KO).  The fight is scheduled to go 10 rounds from the junior welterweight division and both fighters badly need a win.  DeMarco has lost his last three fights, albeit to quality opponents who all entered the fight with zero career losses, and another loss, which would make four in a row could spell the end of his career.  Meanwhile, Solis already has seven career losses at just 24 years old and he is 5-5 in his last 10 fights, although he has won four in a row.  Those four wins for Solis all came via the knockout but they also all came against lesser opponents.  DeMarco has the clear experience advantage in this fight.  During his more than decade long career he has been in the ring with fighters like Edwin Valero, Jorge Linares, John Molina Jr., and Adrien Broner among others.  Solis' best opponents were Jose Felix Jr. and Ryan Karl who are both still prospects and in the case of Karl, not even a top tier prospect and Solis lost to both of them.  Solis fought five times in 2016 and has already fought once in 2017 so he should be in good shape and sharp.  DeMarco hasn't fought since his late 2015 loss to Figueroa so he may show some ring rust early.  DeMarco is a southpaw who works behind a measuring stick jab and heavy left hand.  Along with those weapons DeMarco also has a good right hook and he likes to spend long stretches working from the pocket where he inflicts and absorbs plenty of punishment.  As for Solis, he is an orthodox fighter who doesn't jab much and he doesn't use his feet much either.  Instead he likes to counter punch and rely on a powerful left hook to win fights.  While Solis also lets his right hand go plenty he isn't a very skilled puncher with the right hand.  If DeMarco has anything left his experience should allow him to outwit a fighter like Solis and after more than a year out of the ring he should be refreshed enough to win this fight by the way of split decision.
