- It has been a brutal month for boxing fans but the end is finally here. The last fight card of the month aired on beIN Sports Espanol with Cesar Juarez taking on Richard Pumicpic in the main event of that card. Juarez is best known for his war against Nonito Donaire in 2014 but since that fight he had only gone 1-1. That was until Saturday when Juarez improved his post-Donaire record to 2-1 by beating Pumicpic by the way of unanimous decision.
- The other fight on Saturday's beIN Sports Espanol card was a bout between Ramon Garcia and Israel Gonzalez. Garcia entered the fight with the big advantage as far as experience in the ring but he had hit hard times as of late and he was riding a four fight losing streak before taking on Gonzalez. Meanwhile Gonzalez had never really been tested but he is a sharp accurate puncher and that is what helped him beat Garcia with a clear unanimous decision.
