PBC on FS1 Quick Pick

Eddie Ramirez vs. Kevin Watts: Tonight the PBC returns to Fox Sports 1 with a junior welterweight bout headlined by two undefeated prospects.  Both Eddie Ramirez and Kevin Watts are 24 years old and both bring undefeated records into the ring with them for this fight scheduled to go 10 rounds.  Between the two fighters neither has much power but it is Ramirez who has the slightly heavier hands.  Ramirez is also the fighter who has faced the higher level of opposition including a few veterans.  Ramirez is an orthodox fighter with very quick hands.  He moves his head well on the inside and has a snapping jab along with a solid right hand.  Ramirez also has a bad habit though of letting his right hand drift from his chin when he throws power punches with his left hand.  Still, Ramirez has shown good movement in the ring and has a solid chin that could help him going forward.  Watts is also an orthodox fighter and he couldn't be more different from Ramirez.  While Ramirez relies on accurate jabs and right hands Watts throws a lot of looping power punches.  Watts' best punch is probably his straight right hand but that punch, like all of his punches, can be wild.  One thing Watts doesn't do much of is jab so expect Ramirez to catch him coming in with the jab consistently.  This may not be the prettiest fight but Ramirez and his fans will leave happy as he gets the wide unanimous decision win.
