beIN Sports Espanol Quick Pick

Luis Nery vs. Martin Casillas: Late Saturday night on beIN Sports Espanol undefeated prospect Luis Nery (18-0, 13 KO) will take on Martin Casillas (15-6-1, 9 KO).  The fight is scheduled to go 10 rounds in the junior bantamweight division and while Nery will be looking to stay perfect Casillas will just be looking to stay relevant.  Nery is a southpaw with quick hands and feet but he doesn't always use them to his advantage.  Too often he gets into fights where he is trading leather and he was even dropped by a 4-8 fighter recently.  Nery mainly uses his jab as a distance finder and he has a good right hook once he finds it.  The prospect also has a strong crooked left hand and he digs that punch to the body often and with good results.  As for Casillas, his career has been a mess recently.  In his last six fights he has gone 1-4-1 and the opponents he has lost to are not even notable names.  One thing he has going for him is that in his six career losses he has never been knocked out.  Casillas is an aggressive orthodox fighter who comes in behind a bit of head movement instead of a stiff jab.  The problem for Casillas is that his hands aren't all that fast and he throws wild punches.  This fight should be all Nery and although he won't knock Casillas out he will get the unanimous decision win.
