Friday Night Fights Quick Pick

Harrison looks to remain perfect on FNF
Tony Harrison vs. Pablo Munguia: If you haven't yet seen Detroit native Tony Harrison (20-0, 17 KO) in action then don't miss this weeks Friday Night Fights main event.  Harrison will be taking on Mexican veteran Pablo Munguia (20-6, 11 KO) in a 10 round, junior middleweight bout.  Harrison, who was once viewed as a fringe prospect, has burst onto the scene recently thanks to his incredible knockout power.  You would have to go back ten fights to find the last time a Harrison opponent wasn't knocked out and lasted more than three rounds.  Harrison is an orthodox fighter who likes to work his jab early.  He usually keeps his jab hand about hip high and he will follow up his jab with a strong straight right hand.  While Harrison's left hook is also a solid weapon it is clear that he does the most damage with his right hand.  As for Munguia, he is a short southpaw with little skill.  Munguia will typically drop his head and let his hands run wild with right hooks and overhand lefts.  Munguia doesn't have a ton of pop on his punches and his chin has helped him get knocked out three times in his six losses.  This fight is really just a showcase for Harrison and hopefully after this bout he steps up the level of his opposition.  When this fights starts don't get up to grab another beer because it might be over by the time you get back.  Harrison will dominate this fight and get the victory by the way of 2nd round stoppage.
