Hogan is undefeated as a professional
Dennis Hogan vs. Tyrone Brunson: If you're asking yourself who the hell are Dennis Hogan (20-0-1, 7 KO) and Tyron Brunson (22-4-1, 21 KO) you aren't alone.  Hogan is an unbeaten fighter, but one who has only fought in the U.S. once, with all of his other fighters coming in his native Australia.  Brunson is a fighter who is 1-4 in his past five bouts and most recently was being knocked out by Tony Harrison.  Certainly Brunson's 21 knockouts in 22 wins looks extremely impressive, even more so when you realize that 20 of those knockouts came in the 1st round.  The problem arises when you take a closer look at his resume and realize he only beats fights with losing records or who are making their pro debuts, so his power isn't very legit.  Hogan is a polar opposite in the power department.  He is feather-fisted but boxes very well.  Hogan has a very nice jab and a sneaky counter left hook.  The Australian also throws a nice straight right hand and he moves well in the ring.  As for Brunson, he actually boxes better than one might think.  He is an orthodox fighter with a quick jab and a big right hand.  Brunson usually likes to fight on the inside where he can bully opponents and land his left hook, but that won't be easy to do against the crafty Hogan.  One problem for Brunson is his chin, all but one of his losses have been by knockout, but luckily for him Hogan doesn't carry much power.  What Hogan does do very well however, is outbox opponents and he should be able to do the same to Brunson on his way to a split decision victory.
