Weekend Wrap-Up

- Jonathan Maicelo is an athletic fighter and a superstar in his native Peru but he will never win a world title, he has too many flaws.  His opponent Darleys Perez is a slow starter but can pick you apart with his counter punching and will be a tough out for anyone.

- Roc Nation Sports first fight card was sponsor heavy, the ring was very busy and they minimized the screen mid fight to have advertisements on the side.  Also the 10 minute Fabolous concert between fights was a bit much and so was the get up Fabolous had on, looked like a Russian cowboy.

- Roc Nation Sports & Fox Sports 1 did get one thing right on Friday night.  They gave Stuart Scott a traditional moment of silence and memorial ten count.  That recognition is usually reserved for those involved with the boxing world but Scott was well deserving of it.

- Dusty Hernandez Harrison looks like he will be a good professional for a long time it is just a shame he doesn't carry a bit more power.

- Tureano Johnson may not be very well known but he soon could be.  Johnson makes fan friendly fights and will give a lot of good fighters a tough night.

- Hot prospect Ivan Redkach who had failed to impress on a previous stint on ShoBox: The New Generation looked great under new trainer Robert Garcia and is a fighter to pay attention to in 2015.
