A win for Estrada would set up a huge rematch
Juan Francisco Estrada vs. Joebert Alvarez: This Saturday on beIN Sports Espanol one of the most exciting little men in boxing will be in action.  That fighter is Juan Francisco Estrada (30-2, 22 KO) who is one of hardcore boxing fans favorite fighters.  Saturday will be the perfect opportunity for more casual fans to learn his name is he takes on Joebert Alvarez (14-0-1, 6 KO) in a 12 round flyweight bout for Estrada's WBO & WBA titles.  Estrada is an orthodox fighter who moves well in the ring and slips opponents punches nicely.  While he usually likes to fight at close range he has no problem fighting off of his back foot which makes him dangerous wherever he is.  Estrada's jab isn't world class but that hasn't seemed to matter much.  He has very good power and can hurt opponents with his left hook or straight right hand.  Estrada has fought some of the best and if he can beat Alvarez it would set up a unification fight, and rematch with fellow titleholder Roman Gonzalez.  As for Alvarez he may be in way over his head against Estrada.  Alvarez has fifteen career fights and six of his opponents entered the ring with a losing record.  Alvarez is a southpaw with a busy jab that he uses to setup his other punches.  The southpaws best punch is probably his straight left hand which he will also throw crooked and find success with.  Alvarez is a very aggressive fighter and sometimes tends to forget to stay safe defensively which is why he has been dropped numerous times throughout his career.  If Alvarez fights in his typical aggressive style against Estrada he could be in for a short night of work.  Many of Estrada's stoppages have come late once he has worn his opponent down and that should be the case again on Saturday night as he takes Alvarez to the deep waters before drowning him in the 10th round via stoppage.
