BREAKING NEWS

Pavlik hasn't won much since his last fight
Once again Kelly "The Ghost" Pavlik (40-2, 34 KO) finds himself in the news for all the wrong reasons.  Last time Pavlik made headlines he was being arrested for not paying a cab fare and failing to appear for his court date.  Now Pavlik has been arrested yet again this time for the more serious charge of DUI, a charge he also faced in 2011.  Pavlik was pulled over in his hometown of Youngstown, Ohio and was arrested after refusing to take a breathalyzer test.  Even without the breathalyzer or field sobriety test he was still arrested because the office who pulled him over felt he was to impaired to drive.  Pavlik took to Facebook to respond to the arrest and posted this bizarre statement, "so we in society can say u can't drink and drive, but you can sell a 24 pack and have beer places, gas stations and everywhere else that sell beer yet if u get pulled over for 2 beers in your system ur fucked, should we not do the same for a 400 pound woman or man that eats cheese burgers and french fries and orders a diet coke, and drive knowing he has high blood pressure and cholesterol."  It is no secret that Pavlik has severe issues with alcohol and it seems he is once again at the mercy of a bottle.  Things have been going downhill for Pavlik ever since he retired from boxing this year and maybe, just maybe the best thing for him to do would be to get back in the ring and out of Youngstown, Ohio.
