Yuriorkis Gamboa (23-0, 16 KO) a talented lightweight title holder was arrested Wednesday in Miami.  Gamboa spent Thursday in jail where he posted a $4,500 bond and he is expected to be released on Friday.  Gamboa was arrested on two misdemeanor battery charges related to domestic violence.  Gamboa was also charged with domestic violence against the same woman in 2011.  Gamboa's career has been impressive but also marred by scandal.  Before his latest arrest Gamboa was also linked to the Biogenesis PED scandal that rocked the MLB this year.  There have been rumors that Gamboa, who is promoted by 50 Cent, could fight newly crowned lightweight champion Mikey Garcia but that will all be on hold until his latest scandal is resolved.
