Hernan "Tyson" Marquez vs. Giovani Segura: Saturday, November 2nd will be a loaded night of boxing.  Perhaps the best action of the night will come in a 12 round title eliminator in the flyweight division.  That fight will pit Mexican countrymen and two of the heaviest hitters in the lower weight classes against each other, Hernan "Tyson" Marquez (36-3, 26 KO) and Giovani Segura (30-3-1, 26 KO).  Both fighters compete at a high level and have faced some of the best in their weight classes including Brian Viloria, who they both lost to and Nonito Donaire who Marquez fought and lost to.  What makes this fight so appealing is that both fighters have earned a reputation for being two of the most exciting, all action fighters in the sport.  Marquez has the better defense of the two fighters and moves his head effectively to avoid punches.  Segura isn't a terrible defensive fighter but he will take some big punches that Marquez would normally avoid.  But even though Marquez has the better defense, he also has the weaker chin.  Segura is the more active puncher but can sometimes get caught following his man around the ring instead of cutting it off.  This fight will be all action and should have fans in the arena and at home standing in excitment.  Both of these fighters have been in many wars and the effects of those wars could come into play.  Marquez is 6 years younger than Segura and that along with the fact that Segura might expend a lot of energy chasing Marquez around the ring should allow the younger fighter to be successful.  I expect Marquez to win this fight via majority decision in a great action fight.
