R.I.P. champ
It is a sad day for boxing, former heavyweight champion Ken Norton Sr. has passed away at the age of 70.  Norton Sr. who was the father of former NFL player Ken Norton Jr. passed away at a care facility where he had been staying following several strokes.  Norton Sr. was a legend in the sport compiling a record of 42-7-1 with 33 knockouts and always fighting the best including Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, Larry Holmes, and Gerry Cooney.  He is probably most famous for beating Ali in their first of three fights and breaking his jaw in the process.  Norton Sr. went 1-2 against Ali but every fight was close and the outcome contested.  The boxing world will never forget this great champion and a standing 10-count tribute will certainly be in order.
