BREAKING NEWS

The injury bug has once again struck David Haye (26-2, 24 KO).  Haye was scheduled to fight Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO) this Saturday in a very interesting fight in the heavyweight division.  However that fight is now postponed and may never happen.  The reason for the postponement is that Haye suffered a cut over his left eye in the last sparring session of his camp.  Haye's cut required six stitches and he should be sidelined for a few weeks.  This is the second fight in a row that Haye has been forced to cancel due to injury, the first was a fight against Manuel Charr scheduled for June 29th.  Haye pulled out of that fight due to an apparent hand injury.  Injuries have always been apart of Haye's career.  Most notably when he blamed his loss to Wladimir Klitschko on a broken toe.  This would have been a heavy hitting fight that would have seen the winner move on to big things, hopefully it can be rescheduled when Haye's cut heals.
Unlike his toe injury there is actual proof of Haye's cut eye
