Kid Chocolate scores one of many knockdowns |
The October 26th Showtime card headlined by a fight between Bernard Hopkins and Karo Murat just got a whole lot better. That is because the other fight that night will be a title fight in the middleweight division between tough sluggers Peter "Kid Chocolate" Quillin (29-0, 21 KO) and Gabriel Rosado (21-6, 13 KO). Both men have been in recent wars so the action should be great. Quillin has made a name for himself with fans his last two times in the ring. The first of those two fights was a fight of the year candidate and saw Quillin drop Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam six times, then in his next fight he dropped Fernando Guerrero four times en route to a 7th round TKO. Rosado is best known for the immense amount of heart he displayed when
he fought Gennady Golovkin and also his last fight against J'Leon Love a
fight he lost via split decision which was later changed to a no
contest when Love tested positive for a banned diuretic. Many people
thought Rosado won the fight straight up. This fight should be good, however long it lasts.
