It has been a rumor for a few weeks and has had every boxing fan patiently waiting and hoping it would actually come to fruition. And now it officially has. Knockout specialist Gennady Golovkin (27-0, 24 KO) will be taking on fellow power puncher Curtis Stevens (25-3, 18 KO) on November 2nd live from Madison Square Garden. Stevens has been calling out Golovkin for what seems like forever and now he gets his wish. While many fans have been praising Showtime for their recent stint of great matchups it is now HBO who is getting the praise and will close out 2013 very strongly.
