Very disappointing news on the eve of Saturdays featherweight title fight between Mikey Garcia and Juan Manuel Lopez. Garcia failed to make the 126 lbs. welterweight limit and his been stripped of his title. Now only Lopez can win the belt. Lopez came in at 125.5 lbs. and Garcia came in at 128 lbs. His promoter said he will not try to lose the weight before the fight. Usually when a fighter fails to make weight and then refuses to lose it, it usually means he will move up in weight shortly.
