It's official Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez will be fighting Austin Trout. That comes as good news for any fans of either fighter. But it also comes with some bad news, the fight will not take play on the May 4th Mayweather vs. Guerrero card as previously thought. Instead it will headline a Showtime card slated for April 20th. The main reason Alvarez won't be fighting on the Mayweather undercard is because that Alvarez and his team wanted a contract written up that if both he and Mayweather won on May 4th that Alvarez would be guaranteed to be Mayweather's next opponent. Hopefully there is still a good fight or two on the Mayweather vs. Guerrero undercard, and also for Canelo vs. Trout.
